
Forest Youth

Erasmus+ project “Forest Youth” in Lithuania, Spain, Greece.
The Forest Youth project focused on improving four key areas for young people.
First, it addressed Youth Wellbeing, noting that nearly 20% of young people in the EU reported mental health issues like depression or anxiety. The project used Forest Bathing techniques to enhance physical ad mental health, leading to lower blood pressure, reduced stress, and better mood and focus.
The project aimed for inclusion, targeting marginalized youth. Through engaing activites, participants developed a sense of community and social belonging.
Promotes Youth Entrepreneurship and Initiative
Empwoerment sessions helped marginalized youth build entrepreneurial skills, boost social skills, and improve their self-esteem and academic performance.
Lastly, the project focused on Action on Climate Change, urging youth to engage actively in sustainability efforts.
The project yielded significant results, such as a comprehensive methodology guide for youth workers in multiple languages, a project website with open-source materials, training for 65 youth workers, and 433 youths involved in climate initiatives, among other achievements.
